Volusia County Veterans Memorial Plaza Brick Program

The Tom Staed Veterans Memorial Bridge will become a proud landmark in Volusia County in 2019. During the public input phase of creating the new Veterans Memorial Bridge, there also was discussion to create an adjacent Veterans Memorial Plaza, which would be on the northwest side of the bridge.

The Veterans Memorial Plaza will provide a place for people to come and remember and pay their respects to fallen Volusia County Veterans as well as all Veterans. It will also provide a location for local Veteran organizations to host military ceremonies and celebrations.

The proposed concept for the new Veterans Memorial Plaza is estimated to be a $1.2 million project. Your donation will help us create a special place in our community in which we can honor Veterans from Volusia County as well as all branches of the military.
