Westhaven Foundation Park: A Community Vision
A group of dedicated neighbors set out to increase public access and enjoyment of the picturesque Westhaven Lake waterfront. Their efforts led to the creation of Westhaven Foundation Park—a cherished destination on the lake and a lasting symbol of community spirit. The park is a testament to the neighborhood coming together in celebration of fun, wellness, and unity.

Buy-A-Brick Fundraising Campaign
The Westhaven Foundation, alongside the Waterfront Park Committee, invites everyone to support the park’s growth by contributing to the construction of a new pergola. Through the commemorative Buy-A-Brick campaign, donors can leave a permanent mark on the park. Personalized, engraved bricks provide opportunities to teach children about generosity, honor loved ones, commemorate special occasions, showcase a business or organization, or remember someone in memoriam. Each brick will be permanently inscribed with the name or message you choose, forming a lasting tribute to your generosity. These bricks will be thoughtfully integrated among the brick pavers throughout the park.

Project Phases and Community Involvement
A successful Buy-A-Brick campaign is essential to fund the final phase of the park: the installation of the Pergola. This third and final phase is set for completion in early 2026.

The total cost for the park is $420,000. Thanks to community support, $220,000 has already been raised for phase one, which opened in June 2019. The committee’s guiding slogan has been, “Built for us, by us,” reflecting the belief that residents will unite to make the park a reality. You can help complete this vision by purchasing one or more commemorative bricks.
