The East Church Courtyard is about to be beautifully transformed into a serene garden sanctuary a place for quiet reflection, healing, and spiritual refreshment. Beginning in 2026, this cherished space will be renewed with great care, honoring the beloved olive trees while creating a welcoming haven for all who visit.
Our refreshed Meditation Garden will include:
• New low-growing, shade-loving plants that create a calm, natural landscape
• A reverently elevated statue of Jesus set upon a custom planter pedestal
• Comfortable new benches designed for prayer, meditation, and peaceful rest
• A summer sunshade canopy to provide cool comfort throughout the warmer months
• A lush ficus hedge backdrop to bring beauty, privacy, and intimacy to the garden
• A new ADA-compliant 56" remembrance walkway, paved with engraved bricks leading to the outstretched hands of Jesus
