The Hartwick Veterans Memorial began with a $30,000 grant obtained by the Town of Hartwick. The Board formed a committee to design and oversee construction of the Memorial. Most of the grant has been spent on the initial tasks. The project and remaining funds have been transferred to The Hartwick Post of the Son's of the American Legion.
Memorial brick pavers can now be individually purchased with engraving to remember and celebrate those who served to protect our country. This will provide the financial help needed to complete the project in 2025, hopefully by Memorial Day.
