Now that the HARP Bell Tower is finished, we are extending an opportunity for you to be a part of its lasting legacy.
HARP’s church bell was purchased from McShane Bell Co. in 1887, and signed for by Rev. W. W. Orr, as the church was in its first church building. When the second sanctuary was built in 1901-1903, a tower was included in the new building to house this bell, with a long rope hanging down for ringing on the Sabbath Day. The bell remained there until 2006, when the old church building was demolished. The bell went unused and in storage for almost 20 years, until now where it finds its new place and mission in the HARP Bell Tower. Not only is the bell beautifully displayed, but it is also fully functional to call the saints to worship with its ringing on the Sabbath and for special occasions.
Surrounding the tower is a beautiful courtyard of bricks. Our hope is to fill it with the names of church members and friends who have made this tower possible. Bricks can be purchased and have names engraved on them, thus commemorating this moment in our history for future generations to see.
It’s easy to participate! Read on for details about how to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity!
Ordering opens April 15, 2026, and closes May 15, 2026. Bricks will be placed in May.
BRICK DETAILS: The bricks are 4”x 8”x 2 ¼” and are engraved using state of the art laser technology. Every brick engraving is guaranteed for life!
