It's time to say good-bye to our old pool after many years of happy use. You can become a lasting part of our new family pool!The East-John Center needs your help! East-John is currently working to improve the pool and surrounding area at 11835 Mill Bridge Road. Lusby, Maryland. The goal is to raise the funds necessary to complete the project which is planned to be completed by Spring 2020.The needed renovation will allow us to once again provide swimming privileges to the youth during our annual Summer Camp program, and allow those with disabilities access to the pool by providing a handicap lift. These funds will also allow us to make upgrades to the current pool house.
How can you become a part of this loving project?
To assist the Center in paying for a portion of the cost, we are asking you to purchase a commemorative brick, celebrate a special occasions, honor or remember a special loved one or exemplify a friendship or accomplishment. Clubs, organizations, and businesses can also purchase a brick to honor their affiliation or members. These bricks will be used to pave the seating area around the pool and other special locations at the facility. In years to come, you will be able to bring your children and grandchildren to the pool to see your name and their names as a legacy in the construction of this pool and pool house.
The bricks are 4 x 8 x 2 ¼ or 8x8x2 ¼ and are engraved using state of the art laser technology. This will ensure strength and durability for years to come.
You will be able to create your own message for your brick. Your 4x8 brick may have up to 3 lines of wording and 20 characters per line. Your 8x8 brick brick may have up to 6 lines and 20 characters per line. This includes spaces and punctuation.
Company logos and artwork can be included on a brick at an additional charge. Please note that 4x8 brick messages reduce from 3 lines to 2 lines.
